LYRIC VIDEO
I found a band by the name of SUR on Instagram and they contacted me asking to post a clip of this video for their song. I met with one of the members, Zack, in Los Angeles, which was what I consider to be my first professional experience with my animation skill.

I made this video in about 2 days, not long after twenty one pilots had released their latest album. Because the song sounded heavy and unclean, I gave it an intense and powerful look, with a peaceful interlude in the second half.

ROBBERS
This was the first true lyric video I made, in October of 2017. It took about a month, and utilized 3D layers. I had studied tutorials on videocopilot.net for months before beginning production on this video. To date, it is my second-most popular video.

I LIKE ME BETTER
I Like Me Better began as a short video to test 2D animated text on a 3D surface. However, it ended up becoming a full lyric video. The goal of this video was to create a realistic, yet simple room, with the walls and materials being altered as if in real life.

I was inspired to make this after re-watching the Robbers video from nearly a year ago. Each group of pillars and boxes represent a specific instrument or section of the music. It should be noted that this video could potentially cause epileptic seizures from the 2-minute mark throughout.

I wanted to capture the distinct aesthetics of Nothing But Thieves's album of the same name, by adding a marble background, and implementing gold cracks for the darker, heavier sections of the song. The typewriter font and gears add to the mechanical aspects of the track.
