ABOUT

I have been working with Adobe software since my freshman year of high school in 2015. I began experimenting with After Effects by following tutorials on videocopilot.net, and putting together what each control and term meant in the program. I have worked with more basic video editing software in the past, such as iMovie and Pinnacle Studio. I much prefer After Effects to Premiere, as it provides many more options and versatility when editing videos together. I believe AE is superior when used for creating animations and videos, while Premiere is more suited to editing videos that have already been created.

My YouTube channel has been up for over a year. The first video I made was a mashup of two versions of "Robbers" by The 1975, stitched together into a single video in Premiere. This project involved masking, as I had to make everything in certain shots black and white except for any instances of fire, which were colorized. I also had to line up the audio properly, as certain sections of the two songs were not shared and the BPMs were not the same. My first true lyric video was also for "Robbers", which involved 3D animation and syncing keyframes up to the music perfectly. This has been present in almost all of my projects since. I believe that in any song, every individual sound can be visualized, whether it's a flickering glow or an intense gritty shake.

I currently have several songs lined up to be used in future videos. If you have a song you wish to have animated into a lyric video or visualizer, please email me. If we can work out the details, I will gladly put it at the top of my list.
